From first team gaining Europa League qualification for second consecutive season, another five academy players signing for pro clubs (31 now in total), another four academy players making first team debuts (30 now in total), both our scholarship sides winning league titles and another 15 scholars set to progress to university or employment it has been another great season for the football club.

As always at the football club we look forward continuously and never back. We are looking at improving and progressing our academy program in a number of areas and look forward to an exciting and enjoyable 2017/18 campaign.

May and June are always a hectic period with numerous events on in preparation for the new season with one season finishing and preparations well underway for new campaign.

A lot of dates to take down for parents. These have all been added onto the events section of the website and we will be updating every Monday with each weeks events also to aid parents with their schedules.

Key dates for all parents and those involved are as follows:

Sunday 30th April

This Sunday will be the final fixtures for majority of our academy sides.

There are small handful of finals and league fixtures for our under 18 and 19 sides but all training and games following this Sunday for remaining will come to a close.

Monday 1st May-Friday 5th May

Academy Trials

Our open trials for next seasons age groups are not to be attended by current Nomads academy players.

Some players maybe invited in to help with numbers by each age groups coaches, but ultimately this is a week of trials for current non Nomads Academy players.

Monday 8th May

2016/17 End of Season Parents Evening – The Quay Clubhouse – 17:00-21:00

All players will be given ten minute time slots as normal from coaches for end of season review with player, parents and coach.

As well as end of season performance review from coaches, players will be informed whether or not they have been successful in being offered a contract for the new 2017/18 season.

Macron Kit Sizing – The Quay Clubhouse and Café

Following the open evening and re signing for the new season, players will then make their way over to The Quay 3G Clubhouse where Macron will be in attendance and all players will get re sized for their new training kits for the next two seasons 2017/18 and 2018/19.

We have re structured the training packs for the new season and cost for the essential pack is now just £100. This must be paid on this evening. There are extra additional silver and gold packs which are optional for parents also for £150. More information on these packs will be given out at a later date.

Training over July and August will just be once a week, but two hour sessions with full half pitch space for our older sides and full thirds for our minis will ensure great eight week pre season training program leading into the start of the season in September.
