Consett Rugby Club plays host to the 5th leg of the Northumberland 7's series for 2013. With Consett (Barbarians) sitting 2nd in the overall league table, it will be a great opportunity for the boys to bag their first win after coming so close in the past few weeks.

Consett Steelers Rugby League team also have a home game starting at 2:30, a a fantastic day to be a rugby fan in Derwentside!

There will be food (BBQ and a special treat), drink (alcoholic and non) and great entertainment on throughout the day so bring the whole family along.

We also say goodbye to our loyal Kiwi servant of 2 years in Ben 'Dusty' Jones. He will be playing so come along and show your appreciation for his hard work over the past couple of seasons.

Shenanigans at the club should wrap up around 7ish then head over to the Demi for Live music and a whole load of good times.
