A lost friend and team mate.

All,

The club has of course been rocked by the news over the weekend with Sam Gordon. As a family, and a club, we are committed to support you in any way you feel you need.

Whether you want to make use of the following information is entirely your call – however please know that you are not alone – there is an outlet for you to talk, and there are people both in the club and in the wider community who are there to talk whenever you would like to.

We will ensure the clubhouse will be open every night this week if anyone would like to go and be with other club members – just to talk, or to know that there is support available.

Our club Safeguarding Officer Mick Horgan is skilled in psychiatric health and has offered his time if anyone would like to talk to a club face and can be contacted on 07568 533457.

Outside of the club, the charity Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SOBS), can be contacted on 0300 111 5065, or you can email them for advice on sobs.support@hotmail.com

Of the larger charities – the Samaritans can be contacted free from any phone on 116 123, or e-mailed on jo@samaritans.org

If you have any concerns about your own, or anyone else mental health following the tragic events this weekend, make please make sure you speak out. There are people who want to and will help you through your experiences and we are all here to support each other at this dreadful time.
