Borough are delighted to announce that we are designating our fixture at Y Morfa against Prestatyn Town on Friday 8 March in support of Football v Homophobia. This is an initiative that exists to challenge discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity at all levels of football.
Chairman Chris Wilton commented: “When we became aware of the campaign we felt it was important for the club to lend its support. Conwy Borough has zero tolerance for homophobic discrimination and we are privileged to be given the opportunity to highlight and raise awareness of the issue. For the game against Prestatyn our kit supplier, SK Kits, has designed a one off rainbow themed shirt that will display the Football v Homophobia logo. We are very grateful to the league for granting us permission to wear the shirt for the game and we will be doing all we can to get behind the campaign.”
