Borough are delighted to announce that Chris Morrell has been appointed as First Team Coach/Manager to work with and support Director of Football Warren Gibbs.

Chris is an extremely well respected figure in North Wales football and is currently an FAW A Licence candidate.

As a club we are really pleased that Chris has agreed to come to Y Morfa and are looking forward to working with him in conjunction with Warren and the team who have made a great start to the season.

Following confirmation of his appointment, Chris Morrell commented:-

“Its an honour to be asked to come to Conwy Borough FC and especially to work with Warren Gibbs and the rest of the staff . I am sure that this will help with my own development.
Warren spoke to me in the summer but at that time it wasn't possible for me to get involved, however, when he called me recently I jumped at the opportunity and I'm willing to help in whatever way I can. Borough has the makings of a big club, they have made a fantastic start this season with a talented, hard working group of players so its just a case of seeing where that takes them with no pressure of expectation on them. In the medium to long term I'd hope we could put the foundations in place to continue to attract local talent and young players to build for a successful future on and off the pitch. Thanks to Warren and the club for giving me the opportunity and I'm looking forward to getting started this week.”
