Borough continued their pre-season preparations at Y Morfa on Tuesday evening with a 3-0 win against Nantlle Vale FC. The scorers for Borough were Meilir Williams and Aidan Clark (2).

After the game we spoke to Manager Matty Jones:-

“The games keep coming thick and fast for us and the players seem to be really enjoying it after so long out. This was another really good test for us against a Nantlle Vale side who brought a lot of energy and determination to the game.

I was pleased with the performance, especially in the second half when I think we where able to relax a little bit and gain control of the game. Aidan Clark again demonstrated what he can do infront of goal and Meilir Williams also showed that he knows where the net is. I am very pleased that we are creating and finishing chances and it was also nice to keep another clean sheet.

I would like to thank Dan and the Nantlle Vale players for coming down and complying so co-operatively with the protocols. We look forward now to welcoming Llansannan to Y Morfa on Saturday.”
