Conwy Borough were defeated 6-1 by Prestatyn at Bastion Gardens on Friday Night after taking an early lead through Lee Davey.

JORDAN DAVIES made it back-to-back hat-tricks as Prestatyn remained top of the Huws Gray Alliance with a 6-1 demolition of Conwy Borough at the Motion Finance Stadium on Friday night.
Fresh from their 7-1 caning of Ruthin Town seven evenings earlier, the Seasiders dished out another hammering, but the scoreline perhaps flattered Neil Gibson's men a little with four goals coming in the last 15 minutes.
The game could not have started worse for the hosts as a defensive calamity allowed Lee Davey to fire Boro into a third-minute lead.
Davies set up a big chance for the home side when he broke to the byline and crossed low, but both Jack Kenny and Damian Ketley had shots blocked by defenders.
Dave Hayes' header was tipped over by Conwy keeper John Burns as the Seasiders stepped up the pressure.
The equaliser came on 36 minutes. James Stead fed a lovely ball over the defence, Davies beat the offside trap and sent a lovely looping header over Burns and in off the post.

HALF-TIME: 1-1.

Conwy lost both central defenders Dave Bryan and Kyle Jones to injury in the first half and this was to affect the visitors considerably in the second period.
In the 53rd minute Kenny was fouled outside the box and Stead scored with a cracking free kick from 25 yards.
Derek Taylor so nearly equalised when he tried to lob keeper Carl Jones from near the halfway line but the ball landed on top of the net.
Davies and Kenny went close for the home team before on 75 minutes Prestatyn scored a decisive third.
Noah Edwards floated an exquisite pass to find Kenny, who cut inside onto his right foot and drilled low into the left-hand corner.
Taylor lashed in for Boro but was adjudged offside and the closing stages were all about Town.
In the 82nd minute a long kick from keeper Jones took one bounce in the box and Ketley netted with a stunning volley. A former Holyhead Hotspur combination made it 4-1.
Davies added a fifth with another powerful volley following a Jack Lewis long throw.
In the 90th minute Davies was brought down in the area by keeper Burns and referee Ashley Jones pointed to the spot.
Davies made no mistake to complete his second successive hat-trick.

Attendance: 183.
