Football in Corwen has always been part of the community offering a comprehensive programme for junior boys and girls, ladies and senior men.
The club, while determined not to lose the distinctive aspects of the separate strands, feel it would benefit the club if they were united under an umbrella organisation.

Accordingly, we have now established a Community Interest Company called ‘Corwen Football Community CIC’ (Incorporation Number-13606777).
The chair, John Billington, said that this has in addition to the benefit mentioned above, the new organisation has the advantage of reflecting the more inclusive approach of the club to the needs of the surrounding society. It will also enable the club to apply for a greater level of grant funding which is essential for the development of the current facilities and to develop new areas of involvement. It has been a difficult year for the club and there is still progress to be made in certain areas but the club is determined to continue and prosper. John stated that we will be careful to ensure that the spirit and commitment of all members of the team, the players, the coaches and parents are recognised and continued but at the same time seeking to add community value to the organisation.
