Sion Tudor steps down as First Team Manager

The club would like to announce that First Team Manager Sion Tudor has stepped down from the role due to family commitments.

Although the club is disappointed to see Sion go we would like to thank him for his hard work during his time in the role and we would like to wish him all the best in the future.

An announcement regarding Sion's replacement will be made in due course.

Sion gave the following statement:
It is with regret that I have decided to step down as manager of Corwen Fc. Although a difficult one, it is the right decision for me personally as I have struggled for a long time to keep a healthy balance between managing and family commitments.

When I took over in November, I was aware of the task ahead but I’d like to think I gave the club the commitment and hard work it truly deserves. It’s a shame we couldn’t complete the season as I felt we were improving both on and off the pitch, however, I appreciate and respect the FAW’s decision to void the season under the current circumstances.

I’d like to thank all the players and management team for adapting to my way of managing and also for their hard work and commitment during my short spell at the club. I think I speak on behalf of them all in thanking those who have supported the club both home and away throughout the season.

Lastly, I’d like to thank the committee. They gave me the opportunity to manage the club and they have been supportive throughout. I hope the people continuously driving the club forward behind the scenes are rewarded for all their hard work.

I wish the club all the very best for the future.

Diolch yn fawr,

Sion Tudor.
