PREVIEW: Coventry Sphinx are back on the road for the first time since early January and they don’t get much tougher than a trip to Sporting Khalsa. Sphinx have already visited the new look Aspray Arena earlier in the season for an FA Vase tie and they’ll be hoping for a better result in this league fixture.

COVENTRY SPHINX: The form of Coventry Sphinx has tailed off since the turn of the year with goal scoring proving to be a problem in recent games. Coventry Sphinx are well capable of performing well away from home with their 4-0 victory at Ilkeston testament to that.

THE OPPOSITION: Sporting Khalsa are still very much in the league title race and they will be eager to maintain their recent record against Coventry Sphinx. Since the turn of the year, Khalsa have not registered a draw in the 7 league matches they have played. Four wins and three defeats have left them in 5th place in the league table but should they win their games in hand they will be just two points off the leaders Ilkeston Town.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS: Early in the season the two sides met in the FA Vase and two highly competitive games ended with Khalsa progressing after winning the replay at the Aspray Arena. Recently Khalsa visited Sphinx Drive for a league match and came away with an important 2-0 win that day.

FACILITIES: You will find modern seating and cover along both sides of the pitch. Within the ground you have access to food, drink and toilet facilities. Before passing through the turnstiles you will find an on-site Bar with an excellent reputation for the quality of its food.

PARKING: There is limited parking available at the ground which is located just off the main road as you turn onto the premises.
