cowling went in to the game full of confidence but started the slower out of the block and Greetland to there surprise ran in two very easy tries and with the penalty count weighing heavy in the Halifax favor it took a brilliant display from young Jordan Powell to get cowling back in the game and good work up the middle from the cowling forwards lead by Daniel Spencer got cowling to the line.
Craig Nicholson went over out wide and Powell converted cowling had finally woke up and once there was one try they went in again Nicholson with his second Powell converted and put cowling in front at the half 12-10
second half quins kept the foot on the gas and Steve Powell went in at the corner with quick hands down the line Jordan Powell converted but then Greetland got in to the cowlings half with silly penalty s and went in to make it 18-16 but Danny Windle for the quins sprinted in from 40 meters to restore the quins eight point lead as Powell converted four from four.
with ten to do cowling just had to defend there line but with two yellow cards against the quins it made the job hard and on the last minute Greetland kick the ball high in the air and two quins ran in to each other trying to catch the ball and the all rounders walked in.
