Cowling went to meltham with just 12 men due to work committments and went there having champagne of a time really coming together as a team with two new signing playing on the day.
The game started slow with meltham not completeing sets and gifting cowling the ball and cowling got in strike range with great work from Nicky Smith, Ash Wood and Brian Vincent but the meltham line held strong the all blacks did break the quins but in the first half could only score out wide.
Man of the match Facko Warey tackled his heart out for the quins so did second rower Milky Skinner but it was center Daz Plamer who got cowling a penalty in front of the sticks Daz Greenwood converted the two.

As with only 12 cowling tired but there spirit was high meltham couldn't believe cowling kept going all game even when they ran up the score board now the quins play King cross Park A at home 230pm kick off knowing they can win this game
