Cowling went in to this game full of confidence and a full squad for the first time this year but finding out wykes first team game was off against woodhouse the quins know this was going to be a battle.
The game started slow for cowling with there defense line not moving up and wyke attacked the cowlings left side and before cowling could blink wyke was 16 nil to the good but then again the harlequins woke up and got back in the game with a try George long Converted by Daz Greenwood with hard work from Daniel Spencer and Craig Nicholson cowling was still in the game at half time 16-6 behind.
Second Half man of the match Nicky smith and Brian Vincent got cowling on the front foot a a cut out pass from Kirk Verity found Ben Norton to score his first of the season Greenwood kick just went shot of the right post but things got ever better when they ran in another try from hooker dean Williamson Greenwood converted but after that cowling ran out of steam and wyke took full control so now cowling need to come out of the blocks quicker and that win wont be far away.
