In the 6th minute Cameron Saunders made a probing run down the left, his cross was met by Crawley centre forward Joe Hankins who shot over from six yards out.

Ardley replied with a shot from Morgan Williams in the 15th minute, Lori's Marcimain saving well.

Crawley made inroads down the left side again with a Joe Hankins cross only needing a touch by the advancing Crawley players to convert.

In the 23rd minute the visitors opened the scoring when a long ball was latched onto by Anaclet Odhiambo who lobbed the advancing Crawley keeper to make it 0-1.

Ardley started the 2nd half with Jordan Nygathe running through the midfield unchallenged but his shot went just wide in the 46th minute.

Three minutes later Ardley doubled their lead,with Anaclet Odhiambo scoring with a deflected shot past Marcimain to make it 0-2

In the 53rd minute Crawley pulled a goal back, Joe Hankins scoring from close range to make it 1-2.

The visitors' substitute James Casbieri was unlucky not to convert a further two chances which both hit the post.
Lori's Marcimain made two spectacular saves to keep the scoreline at 1-2.

The Maroons have a mountain to climb to avoid losing their Premier Division status, but have continually improved, Hopefully in the rema9ing games they can convert the chances that they are creating. The Maroons have no game next Saturday.

Crawley Green Reserves FC won 2-1 against AFC Kemston & Bedford College with goals from Reece Green and Dominic Horn. Next Saturday they entertain Marston Shelton FC.
