Biggleswade United FC 2 v Crawley Green FC 2
It was the proverbial game of 2 halves as Crawley came from 2-0 down at the break to secure a point in a 2-2 draw and they nearly took all 3 points in the closing minutes with a free header which was turned over.

It was United who bossed the game in the first half and they duly took the lead after only 9 minutes from a penalty after James Smith was upended in the box. Dave Parkinson stepped up to convert the spot kick to make in 1-0.

After 23 minutes Crawley conceded again. United put together a flowing move and the final pass was converted by Enrique Amador to make it 2-0. Despote dominating the game United failed to increase the scoreline and it finished 2-0 at the break.

It was different story in the second half as Crawley came roaring back into the game and they reduced the arrears after 52 minutes when Jame Younger capitalised on a mistake by Alexandre Carbonnier to fire home and make it 2-1.

Crawley were far more dangerous as the game progressed and it was no surprise when they drew level after 72 minutes. Phil Draycott picked up the ball on the left and fired into the far corner to make it 2-2.

After 75 minutes a Sin Bin offence by Tyler Ingham reduced the Maroons to ten men. United responded with an effort by Briggs which was well saved by George Rose in the Crawley goal and the game finished 2-2.

Crawley travel to Edgware Town on Tuesday evening and entertain Potton United next Saturday.

Crawley Green Reserves snatched a last minute 3-2 win against Flitwick Town with a goal from Terry Billy. Dominic Horn and Temitayo Akerele was the other scorers. Next week the entertain AFC Kempston & Bedford College.
