A Cray Wanderers team containing several trialists overcame a determined challenge from Glebe FC.
With Cray management looking at other options following Tuesday's win at Holmesdale, the team got off to a good start when the Wands went ahead after just four minutes when one of the trialists took advantage of a break away to score.
Glebe fought their way back into the game but Cray went two up on 28 minutes with a 25 yard strike before Glebe pulled a goal back on 32 minutes.
A substitute trialist came on at half time and scored twice after the break. The first with a close range header on 48 minutes and he wrapped up the scoring with a penalty a minute from the end. Sandwiched in between Glebe scored their second goal from the penalty spot on 51 minutes.
Cray's next fixture is away to Lordswood on Saturday (3pm ko).
