Cray Wanderers Youth U21s continued their impressive start to life in the NRG Gyms U21 League West with a 10-3 victory over Meridian VP at Mottingham Playing Fields on Saturday.
Ken Lodge's side dominated the game from the start to finish and scored through Christie Pattison (4), Richard Sesay (2), Rolland Vastag, Reece Deakin, Nyron Blackduke and Oshea Mafuba. This against a side in good form going into the game.
There is a lot of talent in the side and two players Reece Deakin and Jack Lodge are going on a two week trial for Notts County with a view to going full pro.
Their next scheduled game is at home this Saturday in the 3rd Rd of the Kent Junior Cup at home to Phoenix Sports who Cray beat 7-3 in the league earlier in the season.
