Alex Ladies make the trip to Hull City Ladies on Sunday for opening away game in the FA Women's Premier League

Following our penalty shootout defeat at The New Saints Ladies last weekend in the League Cup, the Alex Ladies will be putting their focus back onto the FA Women's Premier League on Sunday afternoon with a trip to Hull City Ladies.

CALFC were beaten 3-0 the last time we visited Hull in a game which was abandoned with ten minutes to go following a serious injury to Emma Lambourne and will be looking for an improved result and performance following a solid start to the new season.

Hull have started the FA Women's Premier League season in good form, winning both of their games so far 6-1 at home to Barnsley before coming from 2-0 down at half-time to win 4-2 at Chorley. The Alex Ladies will look to take the performances of our opening two games up to Hull and pick up a positive result.

The game will be taking place at the Hull University Sports Ground, HU6 7TS with kick-off at 2pm.

Both the CALFC Development Squad and Under 18's will also be in league action this weekend, with the Development Squad playing their first home game of the season at the Cumberland Arena against Curzon Ashton Ladies who beat the young Alex Ladies 3-0 last Sunday while the Under 18's Cheshire Women's & Youth League campaign gets underway at Newcastle-under-Lyme College with Sandbach United Ladies U18's the visitors.

The Under 18's kick-off at 2pm with the Development Squad an hour later at 3pm.
