Cropredy travelled to this very ground two weeks ago to visit Ashton Folly who were making temporary use of the ground only to have the game postponed after they arrived for due to an unsafe pitch and their opening home game to Kennington Athletic made way as all of British football stood still last weekend to pay respect to Queen Elizabeth II.

It will be new manager Lawrence O’Sullivan’s first official game in charge and there is the potential in the travelling squad for as many as eight players making their competitive debut or second debut for the club.

The hosts themselves have had two managerial changes over the summer and will be looking to bounce back from their opening day defeat away to Yarnton where they lost 5-2.

Cropredy opened the previous season with a 5-0 win away at Marston Saints and a repeat will be very welcome but not easy.
