4. How to arrange a friendly match

Please observe this procedure for getting friendly games sanctioned (insured)

The Club will ensure that each age group has a fair allocation of home games and factors such as COVID regulations and pitch durability need to be considered.

1. Only players that are registered to the Club can play in friendly matches.

2. All requests are to be into the club by close of play on a Tuesday for games to be sanctioned for the following Saturday/Sunday

3. If we are the Home team - the following details are required for a home fixture so the game can be sanctioned by the County FA

● Age Group/Team
● Date/Time of Kick off
● Address/Location of Game
● Full Name of Away team
● Away team affiliation number
● Away team COVID Officer

Email the above details to friendlygame@crosfieldsjfc.com

Once this has been received by the club we will confirm acknowledgement (usually by Wednesday), then please add your game onto OKS and your game can be played.

4. If we are the away team – the following details are required so the club can approve the away fixture

● Age Group/Team
● Date/Time of Kick off
● Address/Location of Game
● Full Name of Away team
● Away team affiliation number
● Away team COVID Officer

● The away team will need to get the game sanctioned by the county fa, please ask for a copy of this agreement and copy this into your email, without this the club will not approve away games.

Email the above details to friendlygame@crosfieldsjfc.com

Once this has been received by the club we will confirm acknowledgement (usually by Wednesday), then please add your game onto OKS and your game can be played.

5. Notice period with the County FA for friendly games: 5-days’ notice is now acceptable.

6. No game can go ahead without being sanctioned as no Public Liability insurance will apply.

7. Please also remember that health and safety, first aid, goal post safety etc all still apply for friendly games

A list of referees who are within Crosfields community is held by the Club. If you require a ref for your game, please contact neleh31@hotmail.com who will send you details, it is your responsibility to arrange a referee for your games.

Crosfields JFC's 2021/2022 seasons affiliation number is: X-LIV6937

If a "training" match is arranged between two Crosfields teams then this also needs a friendly approval. As a guide for that:

If it looks like a match: children are in kit, being played on a match pitch , there's a referee - then it is a match and it needs friendly approval.

If it's two teams on the same bit of Astro on a training night, no appointed referee and the children are in their normal training gear - then that doesn't need approval
