Girls suffer first league defeat

This top of the table clash was played out in some horrible rain with a Northwich side fired up from the off, Crosfields crisp pass and move seemed to go missing in the first 7 or 8 minutes, the pace of the northwich start had clearly took the girls by surprise who soon found them selves 2 nil down,

Once the crosfields girls got their foot on the ball it started to improve and Megan Parker pulled one back before half time having had a few half chances that just didn't quite sit right for her or Millie Perry.

Half time arrived following some constant pressure that northwich did well to hold off, a quick change at the back and the 2nd half commenced with both sides creating chances before Northwich scored a third to the delight of one of their supporters who may have had money riding on the result!

The girls heads seemed to go down after this and northwich scored a further 2 goals to seal a well deserved victory and set up a mouth watering end of season encounter that will decide who is crowned Cheshire Girls European League Champions.

The end of the league season is fast coming to an end and win lose or draw next week all the girls should be extremely proud of how they have developed this season, some of the football has been outstanding girls.

Well done both Paul and I are extremely proud of all you have achieved so far this season
