3. Junior Training

All Junior Training takes place at Ashton Playing Fields:

All sessions are at 598 Chigwell Road, Woodford Bridge, Essex, IG8 8AA. Click here for a map of Ashton Playing Fields location.

All training sessions are led or overseen by qualified England Hockey coaches and often with some assistants and learner coaches!

Safety is very important and we recommend that you wear shin-pads, ideally specific to hockey, and a gum shield is mandatory. We can provide sticks initially for you to borrow during the session. Please ask if you'd like to know more.

U8 and U10:

Saturday's 09:00 - 10:15
Thursday's 18:00 - 19:00

U12 and U14:

Saturday's 10:15 - 11:45
Wednesday's 18:30 - 20:00

U16 and U18:

Wednesday's 20:00 - 21:30 (Warm up from 19:30)

Selected Juniors who also play senior hockey may be invited to train with the Seniors on a Tuesday night at Lee Valley - See Ladies and Men's section pages for more information.
