Well deserved recognition for Tony

Long serving committee member Tony Riley was presented with a Westhoughton Civic Award and the Harold Daniels Memorial Trophy, at an event held at the Westhoughton Sports and Social Club on Saturday 25th January.

Tony was presented with the awards by Westhoughton Town Council Mayor David Wilkinson, in recognition of his outstanding voluntary work and service to the local community, which includes over 20 service at Daisy Hill FC.

A delegation from the club attended the event to see Tony receive the award, and pictured with Tony left to right are Bob Naylor, Barry Jones, Graham Follows, Jacob Ridings and Darren Ridings.
