Last weekend saw a break for both of our Men's & Ladies 1st XV's. However, that didn't stop a weekend of brilliant rugby being played by Darlington RFC.

Saturday saw our 2nd XV welcome Guisborough to Blackwell Meadows, and what a game of rugby we were treated to, in a game that could have very easily gone either way Darlington fought back for a well deserved 18-17 victory.

With our Mini's taking on Stockton there was some fantastic rugby being played by all that took to the field. As the rules start to revert back to normal in this post-Covid world it had a real sense of normality seeing the teams get back on the pitch under normal formats, and hopefully it will continue in the same vein in the future.

In a late change, our U14's ended up playing against Redcar, ultimately coming away with a well deserved 45-0 win. The Under 15's travelled up to Northern buoyed on the back of last weekend victory against Sunderland. Unfortunately they weren't able to replicate the performance and the game finished in a 15-0 victory for the hosts. Back at Blackwell Meadows local bragging rights were on the line as our Colts welcomes Darlington Mowden Park, continuing with their impressive run of form, Darlington took a strong 31-3 victory.

This weekend will also see the return of Ketton Lunches prior to both the Men's & Ladies games. We'll also be showing Saturday's Autumn Internationals, Scotland v South Africa (KO 1.00pm) and England v Australia (KO 5.30pm) on TV. Club opens 12.30pm, so why not make a day of it!
