Junior Rugby is a real team game where new players are quickly incorporated according to their abilities and where fun is more important than winning (though only just!). Our coaches aim to give all our young players a love of our fantastic game and to nurture the skills needed to get the most out of training and playing.

We welcome all boys from Year 10, whether you've played the game before or want to try rugby for the first time. Please come along at 9am for a Sunday morning training session (see fixtures page for dates we will be training on Sundays this season). We also train on a Wednesday evening every week from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

We play matches on Sunday mornings, home and away, against other clubs from across the region.

Gum shields must be worn during training and matches and we recommend players wear layers to keep warm, particularly during the winter months.

New players are entitled to two free taster sessions and subs are then £15/month. All players will need to register with the RFU (free) and become members of DRFC (£30 annual fee).
