Depleted team but still working hard

With Oliver still laid low with his broken foot, Henry poorly and Josh away at a footy match (!!!), Aiden, Joe, Nathan, Dan and Niall took to the field for the matches against Ryton (with players on loan from Ryton).

Both teams were up for their games, with Ryton displaying well organised, clearly drilled positioning.

The first game was end-to-end play with Joe making great tackles, getting into position and making strong runs and Nathan making strong decisive breaks leaving the opposition in his wake.

The second game saw Ryton up their game but our boys dug in with Niall making strong forward runs; Dan making crunching tackles and Aiden’s powerful runs becoming unstoppable.

Next Sunday, 20th March: away at Horden for the County Cup (venue change)
