We are a small, welcoming club with a thriving Minis rugby section. Our U9s team caters for Year 4 boys and girls. Contact rugby in the form of tackling is introduced at this age group.

We train on Sundays (September to April) from 9.30-10.45am except when we are playing a match. We play matches, usually every alternate Sunday, at home and away, against other rugby clubs from across the region.

New players are welcome throughout the season, no prior experience required. If your Year 4 son or daughter is interested in giving tag rugby a go, feel free to drop in at a training session (see 'fixtures' to find out when we will be training at Blackwell Meadows). Be dressed for the weather in tracksuit bottoms or shorts, t-shirt, jumper (coat, hat and gloves occasionally!) and trainers or football/rugby boots if you have them. Gum shields must be worn for tackling.

New players are entitled to two free taster sessions and subs are then £13/month. All players will need to register with the RFU (free) and become members of DRFC (£30 annual fee).
