The Club gained the highest accolade at the end of the 2008/09 season when we were recognised as the TEESSIDE JUNIOR FOOTBALL ALLIANCE CLUB OF THE YEAR in recognition of the Club's organisation and commitment to the development of children in football.

Club Coaches were presented with the "Club of the Year" trophy at the prestigeous TJFA annual awards evening at The Tall Trees, Yarm in May 2009 and further recognised by the Mayor of Darlington who presented the trophy to the Club again in June 2009 at the Club's own Awards Day.

The following season, TSC surpassed this amazing achievement by becoming the first club to be given the Club of the Year award in successive seasons .. an remarkable and unlikely to be repeated accolade for which everyone connected with the club (players, parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, coaching staff, match day helpers) should all be very proud of.
