DVRFC held their annual Community Day that celebrated 3 years since the creation of their Youth Academy and has become the day that the club invites the whole community to come and meet them and have some fun!

Over 300 people enjoyed the wonderful sunny weather with a Youth Academy session, followed by a Mixed Invitational Touch tournament with 12 Teams. There was a climbing wall, bouncy castles, popcorn & candy floss stalls, DJ, Club Gazebo and a food and mobile bar resulting in a wonderful family day.

The Rugby club has grown significantly over the last 3 years and now has over 500 club members including its extremely popular Youth Academy (3-16 years), multiple men’s 7’s/15’s sides and a rapidly expanding Ladies senior squad. The Club has been working closely with Dartford Borough Council on the creation of permanent Rugby facility in the town and confirmation of this project is expected in the next few weeks.
