**WOMEN IN RUGBY - DARTFORD ROSES GO FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH!!**
Did you know?? ... as the new 2021/22 season approaches .....
- 6/11 of our lead club roles are women, including our Club Chair, Sophie Warren
- Our Senior Roses team AND our U15s Roses enter their first competitive leagues in our history
- We have our first girl (and player!!) selected for Kent County & England U-18 Pathway
- Our female girls/ ladies teams are growing week-on-week!!
On 13th July 2021 World Rugby unveiled a 6-point plan to cement ambition to be the most progressive sport on player welfare.
Sir Bill Beaumont, Chair of World Rugby stated that one of the 6 points would be a dedicated focus on the women’s game: recognising both the growth potential and unique nature of women’s rugby. Measures will include dedicated research investment across community and elite women’s rugby and women’s game specific law reviews.
