Joe Henderson is a defender, Joe signed for Daventry Town after being released from Coventry City at the end of last seaon. Born in Banbury, Joe went to school in Daventry.
Henderson made his professional debut for Coventry City as a substitute on 27 April 2012 in a 4–0 Championship loss to Southampton, coming on to replace Jordan Willis after 72 minutes.
Joe made three appearances for the Sky Blues during 2012 – 2013. In March 2012, Henderson joined Conference North side Nuneaton Town on a work experience deal until the end of the season.
Joe was released from the Sky Blues on 15 May 2013.
Joe has also played for Bedworth United, making just one appearance, a 6 -1 defeat to a Stefan Moore inspired Champions elect Leamington Town.
Joe became an important member of the squad before leaving to join AFC Rushden & Diamonds. After leaving Diamonds Joe played at Woodford United until he returned to Daventry for the second time in the 2-2 draw at home to Bedford Town.
