Fantastic atmosphere at Tigerfest serves as a perfect build-up to the HK Sevens

What an amazing Tigerfest that was last Sunday! It was fantastic to see so many mini rugby players having fun and we hope all of you enjoyed the atmosphere and games.

Tigers received a lot of praise from all participants and the HKRU and the club would like to give a huge thank you to all who helped making the day such a great success. The coaches, referees and pitch marshals, the Supermums for their fantastic work raising money for a good cause and the countless helpers who worked late into the night to set up the festival and clean up afterwards.

And it’s on to the next party this weekend as the Hong Kong Sevens finally return after a 3-year hiatus.

Unfortunately there won’t be a marchpast for the kids this year and no showcase games inside the stadium. There will be Sevens minis games at So Kon Po and SCAA, however, and we wish good luck to those kids who represent Tigers.

It would be great to see many Tigers at the stadium to cheer on our very own Tigers players Cado Lee, Salom Yiu and MK Chung who will start for the Hong Kong team and Sam Walsh who will represent the USA squad at the tournament.
Tigers traditionally sit in Block 131 and we hope to see many of you there!
