New season request for pre-owned playing kit and reminder on how lost property at the club is managed.

Pre-owned kit
Sale of pre-owned kit continues from the kit shed during Saturday morning training. The club will gratefully accept donations (at the kit shed) of pre-owned Deeside kit if people would like to hand back anything they've outgrown or items that are no longer in use. This kit will be managed the same way as lost property (see below), including sale at reduced cost (for club funds), donation to charity or sent for recycling. This could be a great help in kitting out any super fast growing children who go through kit at a rate of knots!

Note: Due to Covid-19, all kit donations will be quarantined, then laundered, before being offered for sale.

Lost Property
Coaches will initially put lost property in the storage area (equipment shed) of the team/age group who were training. Every two weeks, unclaimed items will move into general lost property (equipment shed) for another month. Then, unclaimed items will be disposed of as the club sees fit including sale at reduced cost (for club funds), donation to charity or sent for recycling.

Lost property accumulates at a surprising rate and the club needs to keep on top of this as it cannot be stored long-term. If you do lose any items, please ask your age group coach or any official to assist in checking the lost property in the equipment shed while Covid-19 restrictions limit access to the building. It is recommended that members put their name somewhere on their kit so it can be identified if possible.

Note: Due to Covid-19, please make every effort to take personal belongings home with you so coaches do not have to handle and store lost property.
