Goals from Carl Haines & Craig Stevens as well as the penalty save from Sean Corrick helped the United 45s get a 2-1 win at South Kirkby

The 45s gained their 4th win from 5 games as they held on to a fine 2-1 away win at South Kirkby. Carl Haines bagged his 5th of the season to give the side a 1-0 lead at the interval with South Kirkby getting a second half equaliser, Craig Stevens then gave United the advantage for a second time and seemingly taking the points before the home side were awarded a penalty just 5 minutes from time however United keeper Shaun Corrick showed he was not ready to surrender the points with a fine save low down to keep out the spot kick. The team were then able to see out the remaining minutes without too much concern.

United now sit atop the division on goal difference from Old Edwardians and with a game in hand.
