Match Preview : Pwllheli Reserves v Denbigh Town Reserves

By Iwan Jones

Saturday 13th April - Kick off 2.30pm

Our third placed Reserves team look to continue their unbeaten run as they travel over to Pwllheli on Saturday afternoon.

With four games of the season left, all of them away they are secure of getting the third placed position. However they would like to claim second place as Llanberis are in second place - one point ahead of Denbigh with both teams having played the same amount of games.

Porthmadog are league leaders and Denbigh cannot catch them even if Porthmadog lost all their games and Denbigh won theirs, as Port have a much superior goal difference

The Reserves are on an outstanding run of unbeaten games which now stretches to ten games and they go into the game in a confident frame of mind having beaten Llanrug 4-2 last weekend.

When the teams met at Central Park in January Denbigh came out 4-0 winners with Ashley Andrews, Sam Tate , Liam Roberts , & Billy Holmes scoring the goals

Manager Kev Roberts is aware a few of his players may be with the first team who play at the same time. Nevertheless he is confident his lads can muster up a win and maintain the pressure on Llanberis
