Striker Jake Walker joined Denbigh Town in the summer of 2018.Walker began his playing career with Llanefydd before his time at St Asaph City.
He made his debut in August 2018 against Gresford Athletic, and scored his first goal in the October against Holyhead Town in the JD Welsh Cup.
Following disappointment in his first season he bounced back with 38 goals in 2019/20, made more impressive by the season being curtailed by the COVID-19 pandemic. He was at the time one of Wales' leading goal scorers and top scorer in the division, whilst he picked up the club's Player of the Season award.
Walker followed up with 30 goals the following season before winning the league and cup double in the 2022/23 campaign scoring 23 in all competitions.
