Rugby core values focused session for the U6s

This week The U6s learnt all about the rugby core values: Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, Sportsmanship. We played Stuck in the Mud to warm up and then turned this in to a team game. We then played Piggy in the Middle and it was great to see all the groups taking it in turn to be Piggy. We then learnt that we pass backwards in ruby by racing and passing in pairs. To finish we had a free for all game of Rob the Nest where all the players had to think carefully which balls they chose as some were worth five points but other minus five points. Everybody exhibited the core values but Hazel and Barnaby went home with Henry and Josh who showed all the core values throughout the whole session. Sadly this was to be the last training session until further notice. Keep active U6s and looking forward to seeing you all when we have the go ahead to return.
