We are delighted to announce winger Jack Powell has rejoined the club after a 4 year absence.
Jack the son of former Oxford United and Didcot legend Paul Powell made his debut as a 16 year old for Didcot when Jamie Heapy was previously here as joint manager with Ian Concannon. Jack already wrote himself into Didcot folklore when he scored the 4th goal in our 4-2 win over Brentwood which sealed our place in the FA Cup 1st round proper for the first time in our history where we faced Exeter City.
After finding opportunities limited at the time Jack joined fellow Southern League side Wantage Town. This season Jack has been playing at local side Milton Utd where he has scored 19 goals in just 22 games in the Hellenic League.
He brings much need pace and attacking threat to the Railwaymen and is expected to go straight into the squad for Saturday's crucial home game against Kempston Rovers.
