Dings 2017 woes continue with their fourth consecutive defeat in a well contested feisty affair with the lead changing six times. Dings should have nicked the result in the final ten minutes with pressure yielding two simple penalties both missed by the usually reliable Steve Plummer by contrast the visitors kicker standoff Chris Laidler had earlier landed a couple of monster kicks to secure the visitors victory.

The first half was pretty even punctuated with plenty of flair ups between the packs eventually resulting two yellows for Dings and one for the visitors and two penalties each for a 6-6 halftime score.

Dings started the second half well on top only to fall behind on forty seven minutes when centre Naka Nacamavuto intercepted under his own posts and sprinted in for a try in the corner. Five minutes later Dings restored the lead with try from No 8 Tom Knight after more pressure on the visitors line, Plummer converted for 13-11 to Dings.

Bracknell regained the lead on the hour mark with the first of Laidler’s monster penalties but Dings soon hit back with a drop goal from standoff Mark Woodrow only fall behind again to another long range effort from Laidler.

Sustained pressure from Dings in final ten minutes failed to produce any points despite two relatively easy penalty attempts.
