The game marked George Mitchell’s first start following his switch from SCEFL football and a maiden goal of the season from Greg May. It was also good to see the return of Sam Neville as a second half substitute capped with in his own words “an absolutely worldy” goal!

What do we know about this week’s opponents? Not a lot; we’ve only ever played them once before in a 3-0 pre-season victory back in 2011. The following is an excerpt from the match report - “Drummond completed their pre-season campaign with a second consecutive 3-0 victory against Bromley & District League club, Erith 147 Res. Goals from Danny Lyons, Joe Neville and Tom Tanner set up an excellent win…” They currently sit in sixth place with two wins and two defeats from their four games. Their 1st team are currently unbeaten at the top of the Premier Division of the Kent County League with seven wins and two draws.

Should be a good test.
