Three goals down inside 25 minutes, Drummond were left reeling as they failed to get started against average opponents. An enforced change after 30 minutes following a nasty shoulder injury to debutant James Ramsdale, saw Tom Jenkins move into a central defence partnership which was further disrupted by an injury to Scott McKenzie just before half time.
Manager George Sissons made his final change at half time and Drummond were rewarded soon after the restart with goal by Jake Childs from a twice taken penalty. However, despite the one way traffic in the second half, Drummond couldn’t find a way through and the game ended 3-1 to FC Porto of London.
