With calendar and venues defined, the 37th MBA Rugby World Cup is accepting sponsorship applications for this year’s edition. The competition, which will be held in the traditional host city Danville, Virginia, is expected to set a new record of participation with 16 men’s teams and 10 women’s teams from USA, Canada, England and Ireland.

Vinicius Torres, MBA Candidate from Duke University and event coordinator, summarizes the goals and benefits of supporting the event: “Our objective is to offer sponsors the opportunity to foster the rugby culture, recognized by its ethics and values, and create strong ties with present and future business leaders. This is a very traditional event, followed by different generations of graduate students and the whole rugby community. It represents a special opportunity for companies that are willing to connect with consumers and talents in this different and very special setting.”

The 37th MBA RWC will be played from April 7th to 9th at the Anglers Park fields in Danville, VA. Admission is free.
