Midfielder joins Manzi in leaving for pastures new.

The club can confirm the departure of midfielder Hannah Baptiste from Champion Hill.

Hannah departs having scored six times in 33 appearances over the past two years.

The midfielder, capped by Guyana at international level, first joined the Hamlet from Hounslow in December 2020, but due to the Covid pandemic she was unable to make her debut until the following April, appearing as a substitute in our Round Robin game against QPR at Champion Hill.

Hannah re-signed for the club for the 21-22 campaign, and netted her first two goals in our 9-0 victory over London Seaward Reserves in the Combined Counties Midweek Cup. She would make 16 appearances over the course of the season, with her first league goal for the club coming in her final appearance of the campaign at New London Lionesses.

In the latter part of the season, she played four times for Guyana, and scored twice in their 7-0 win in the Turks & Caicos Islands, with the Lady Jags remaining unbeaten in those matches.

This season has seen game time limited for Hannah, with just seven starts and six substitute appearances for the first team, with her final goal coming in the 7-0 win over Aylesford in October. However she played a crucial role in our FA Cup journey, playing in three of the four games in our run to the Second Round.

Thank for your time with us Hannah, we wish you all the best in your future career and hope to see you back at Champion Hill for a few games!
