Crowd favourite Dean Lodge, always popular with our fans, has been released.

This is sadly due to commitment issues with work...

Dean has been unable to train and play games since pre-season on a regular basis.

First Team manager Gavin Rose explained:

"With our squad being small every member counts. We would like to thank Dean for his service to the Club and wish him all the best in the future."

He went on to announce that he has already lined up another player to step in:

"We have replaced Dean with the short term loan signing of Rhys Murrell-Williamson From Hayes & Yeading United to be funded by our 12th Man scheme, as was Lodge."

For any Dulwich Hamlet supporters who are not aware of the "12th Man" scheme, this has been established for over three years now, and in a single focus, independently run campaign (not connected to either Dulwich Hamlet Football Club or the Dulwich Hamlet Supporters Trust.) It's sole aim is to raise funds to boost the playing budget set by the Club...and help Gavin Rose maintain and sustain the excellent squad that he has.

The money is not used for anything other than what is intended & totally ring-fenced for this by the organisers Neil Cole & Shaun Dooley.

You can contribute by either making a donation in their 'famous' bucket, after you've come through the turnstiles it's on the right-hand side, just past the matchday programme seller.
Or by speaking to them, and donating a set amount of your own personal choice direct into the "12th Man" bank account.

Everyone at Dulwich Hamlet Football Club thanks them for running the scheme, it has been a great help over the last few seasons. And we also thank each & every supporter who has been able to contribute to it, whether a few pennies or a few pounds.
