Dulwich will wonder how they lost this game as the majority of it was played as a game of attack versus defence. IN fact, the goal was Hendon's only shot on target in the 90 minutes. However, as much as Dulwich passed the ball quickly and with purpose, their finishing did not match the approach play.

In changes from Saturday's match, Dumebi Dumaka came back in place of Nana Boakye-Yiadom and Muhammadu Faal came in for Sanchez MIng.

Dulwich started brightly but weren't able to get behind the Hendon defence until the 9th minute when Dumebi Dumaka linked with Nyren Cluuis and it was Clunis who should have put The Hamlet ahead in the 12th minute. He was played in behind the defence by lovely pass from Dumaka but was unable to get any power into his effort.

Next to try his luck was Ibrahim Kargbo but his effort from 25 yards was just wide, whilst his volley from the edge of the box fizzed just over the top. Michael Chambers was next to try his luck, he lifted the ball over a defender but his effort was too close to Lovelock in the Hendon goal and the keeper was able to block. Dumebi Dumaka then had a clear sight of goal, but this time Lovelock pushed out his well struck shot.

In a rare foray forward from the visitors, a good cross from Sprague saw Rickie Hayles have to block a well struck effort from Cole, but Dulwich then wasted another good chance when Dumaka headed over.

Muhammadu Fall thought he had broken the deadlock as he confidently finished from a Dumaka pass, but the flag for offside spoilt his joy.

Half Time 0-0

The second half followed a similar pattern as Dumaka wasted another opportunity and Muhammadu Faal saw his effort kept out by the keeper's feet. Dumaka headed another effort over the top when it seemed easier to score as Dulwich pushed for the breakthrough against a Hendon side content to defend.

With a couple of minutes remaining, Diedhou brought down Carew near the edge of the box but the advantage played by the referee came to nothing when a free kick on the edge of the area would have been preferable for the home side.

Amidst a number of robust challenges, Diedhou then received his second booking with only a couple of minutes to play. However, with four minutes stoppage time almost up, the visitors made their one shot count. Substitute Joshua Walker received the ball to the left of the Dulwich goal and curled a fantastic strike past Preston Edwards and just inside the far post.
