Dulwich secured a creditable draw with a young Tottenham Hotspur side and could have gained victory but for a late missed penalty.

The Hamlet were on the back foot early one as the Spurs side passed up opportunities. Maghoma missed his kick after being set up in front of goal, whilst Clarke headed wide after Maghoma set him up.

Although Dulwich had been starved of possession, they had the best chance in the 14th minute. Kieran Monlouis robbed Okedina but he took too long to get his shot away and the defender recovered to block his effort.

Aaron Barnes saw a driving run infield halted by a crude challenge but Ben Chapman's free kick was tipped over by Smith in the Tottenham goal. However, Tottenham also went close when a blocked effort from Danny Mills saw a lightening break end with Maghoma shooting wide when he should have scored.

It was Dulwich who went ahead in the 24th minute Aaron Barnes lead the break out and he found Ben Chapman who transferred the ball wide left to Jeffrey Monakana. He delivered a cross to the far post, where a stretching Danny Mills diverted it across goal for Nyren Clunis to shoot home.

Tottenham came straight back and Maghoma failed to get a proper connection on another chance, before forcing Preston Edwards into a good save. However, it wasn't one way traffic and Jeffrey Monakana saw an effort curl just wide after he cut in from the left.

Danny Mills saw a header across goal fail to be anticipated by any team mates, before Kieran Monlouis saw his effort come back off the inside of the post.

Half Time 1-0

The second half opened with Spurs in the ascendancy again and whilst Kieran Monlouis almost seized on a mistake, it took a goal line clearance from Quade Taylor to preserve The Hamlet's lead.

Preston Edwards made a great save in the 51st minute when he raced out to deny Sterling, but again Dulwich improved as the half wore on. Jeffrey Monakana cut in from the left but shot high and wide, whilst Danny Mills was just wide after he got on the end ofa Monlouis cross.

However, just after Dulwich had made their changes Tottenham equalised in the 67th minute with a great strike by the impressive Oakley-Boothe that gave Preston Edwards no chance.

Quade Taylor produced another goal line block in the 73rd minute before Dulwich created a chance to win it with 10 minutes remaining. A long ball over the top sent Ade Yusuff clear and he was brought down by Oluwayemi in the Spurs goal. However, Christian Smith's kick was too high.

There were to be just two chances of note in the last 10 minutes. Ade Yusuff drew a sharp save from Oluwayemi and Preston Edwards denied Shashoua with two minutes remaining.
