Dulwich slipped to defeat against an impressive Woking side in their final home game of a tumultuous season that started homeless and finished in front of another bumper crowd of 2648.

Junior Kadi, standing in for Gavin Rose who was unwell, named an unchanged team following the victory at Wealdstone as Dulwich looked for a fourth straight victory.

Woking were in the ascendancy from the kick off and forced two corners in the opening two minutes . From the second on these giant centre half Moussa Diarra should have given them the lead, but his stretching effort at the far post was clawed out by Preston Edwards.

Dulwich lacked cohesion in their play which was summed up by a break from Anthony Cook that looked promising until it was stopped by a wayward pass to Connor Hunte.

As Woking looked for the breakthrough, a poor header from Anthony Cook fell to Cadogan but he could only shoot weakly at Edwards, before Reise Allassani wasted a glorious chance in the 17th minute. A quick break left him bearing down on Edwards but his effort was wastefully high.

In fact, it was Dulwich who came closest to a breakthrough in the 19th minute. Connor Hunte saw his corner from the right headed clear to Aryan Tajbakhsh who returned the ball to him. From his position wide on the left he cut in and hit a stinging shot that Ross managed to tip on to the bar.

Almost immediately Woking wasted another good chance through Kretzschmar, before Dulwich suffered a blow with the loss through injury of Connor Hunte. Again cutting across the defence from the left, he was sent crashing by a poor challenge from Diarra and left the field on a stretcher.

This change clearly disrupted the shape of the Dulwich side and Woking began to exert greater control that lead to a number of chances prior to taking the lead. Allassani and Kretzschmar both wasted good opportunities and Diarra saw a header cleared from in front of the line by Quade Taylor.

Dulwich were on the back foot but it took a well timed tackle by Diarra to thwart Charlie Allen who had been played through on goal by Dipo Akinyemi; the big centre half stretching to take the ball away just as the Dulwich player seemed set to shoot.

With the game seemingly destined to arrive at half time goalless, Woking grabbed the lead seconds into stoppage time. Aryan Tajbakhsh was penalised wide on the Dulwich right and Kretzschmar's free kick was headed home by Diarra.

The Hamlet never really got going in the second half and it took them a long time to get any foothold in the match, by which time the result was not in doubt. Woking completed dominated the first twenty minutes and it seemed only a matter of time before they scored again. Kretzschmar and Little both missed good opportunities before the second goal arrived in the 57th minute.

Dan Thompson lost the ball as Jamie Mascoll overlapped him and the ball was played into the gap created by Mascoll's run forward. Kretzschmar delivered the low cross that Allassani touched home.

Dulwich could have pulled a goal back within a minute but, breaking forward from midfield, Nathan Ferguson had a clear sight of goal but his effort was wide of the post.

having passed up the chance to get a foothold in the game, Dulwich duly conceded a third. A good run from Luer took him behind the Dulwich defence and he unselfishly rolled the ball to Allassani, who looked to have run offside by being beyond Preston Edwards when the ball was played, for a simple tap in.

With Woking rarely looked like conceding a goal, and still seemingly intent on getting more goals, Dulwich worked hard just to hold the visitors to a three goal lead. Dipo Akinyemi and Quade Taylor both had efforts off target when well placed, before Preston Edwards prevented a fourth goal with a stunning save from Cook. The Woking right back fired an effort from ten yards out that Edwards somehow tipped on to the post.

With the crowd starting to drift away, Dulwich pulled a goal back in the last minute. Aryan Tajbakhsh drove forward, as he had done all afternoon, and fired a stunning low drive that flew past Ross from 25 yards.
