Two spectacular goals from wily old pro Glen Little as part of a 3 goal burst in the last 11 minutes of the first half put paid to The Hamlet.

Dulwich opened the game brightly and established their usual rhythm as they pressed forward at every opportunity. However, in general Wealdstone were able to keep them at arms length and The Hamlet were unable to create clear cut chances.

The early play was mainly in the Wealdstone half and an exchange of passes between Ian Daly and Billy Crook gave Nyren Clunis a sight of goal but he was crowded out. Dean Lodge then got free on the left and found Clunis in the box but his carefully placed shot was wide of the target.

Wealdstone went close to an early goal from well delivered set plays but on a quick break out a long ball was delivered over the top to Erhun Oztumer but Wealdstone keeper North was off his line quickly to block. Oztumer then found space on the edge of the box but his shot just went wide of the goal with North rooted to the spot.

The next opening came to Wealdstone's Scott McGleish but he was crowded out by good defending and when the ball broke wide, the cross was deflected behind.

Next to threaten was Dean Lodge who broke forward but decided to go it alone when Erhun Oztumer was better placed.

Following this period it was Wealdstone who began to look more threatening as a quick break saw Peter Adeniyi deflect a dangerous cross over his own crossbar and Kershaney Samuels clear off the line.

However, the game really turned in the visitors favour in the 34th minute as a Glen Little cross was met by the head of midfielder Luke Pigden and his effort looped into the corner via a deflection.

Three minutes later Little floated an effort from the left over Wilson and into the far corner and then right on half-time he added an even better goal. Advancing from just inside the Dulwich half he seemed to have been both closed down, and run out of legs, but then produced the most sublime finish with a delicate chip over the advancing Wilson.

Half Time 0-3

Gavin Rose sent his side back out in determined mood and it took The Hamlet only 2 minutes of the half to get on the board Nyren Clunis attacked from the left and worked his way into the box before laying the ball to Erhun Oztumer who poked a shot past the dive of North.

Dulwich pushed forward with renewed vigour and Dean Lodge combined with Kevin James but his shot was off target. Erhun Oztumer then went close, Nyren Clunis saw an effort blocked and Ian Daly forced a flying save from North.

A second goal would have really put The Hamlet back in the game but instead it was McGleish who put it out of their reach as he arrived on cue to head home from 6 yards following a short cross from the left on 74 minutes.

That was game over and Wealdstone could cruise home; in fact they had the ball in the net again after Wilson spilled a free kick but the Assistant's flag was a welcome sight for Dulwich.
