Yes! It's time to dust yourself down & take part in the Dulwich Hamlet end-of-season ‘community weekend’ for all of our fans

We may have fallen at the last hurdle, but there’s still been plenty to savour over the season. Helped in no small part by all of our vocal fans, who have backed the team in huge numbers both home and away, wherever we have played, near or far.

Time to relax now and enjoy the ‘end-of-season’ spectacular we have arranged, where there really will be something for everyone.

This Friday night, 6th May, our double-winning Youth Team squad take on a side at Champion Hill from the Football Beyond Borders organisation, who will be our OFFICIAL charity partners for next season.

Admission is FREE, by way of a donation into the collecting buckets. This will include a small programme, which has been kindly been produced by FBB & our independent fan’s group the Dulwich Hamlet Supporters’ Trust.

Also, a big thank you to the Trust, who will be shaking the buckets.
Kick off is at 7.45pm.

The following day, Saturday 7th May, at the insistence of First Team manager Gavin Rose, the First Team squad will be taking on our Supporters’ Team, also on the main Champion Hill pitch, kick off 3.00pm. Admission also FREE.

We have arranged a bouncy castle, so feel free to make it a real family day out.

And, in the Boardroom, from 2pm onwards, Jack McInroy, who produces the ‘Hamlet Historian’ magazine, will be showing off some really special Hamlet memorabilia in the Boardroom, until 5.30pm, with a unique first-ever Dulwich Hamlet 'Pop-Up Museum'.

This includes an Edgar Kail international cap; as well as a winning FA Amateur Cup Final medal and a shirt from one of the finals…among a host of other things.

This will be followed by our Player-of-the-Year presentations in the clubhouse…with the actual awards being handed out at seven o’clock sharp.

These will be for the Supporters’, Players’ & Manager player of the year awards; for both the First Team and the Youth Team…as well as the much coveted Club Person of the Year award.

And as if all that wasn’t enough…on Sunday 8th May we are staging a special day to raise awareness & funds for Besty’s Inspirational Guidance, which is a youth motivational project, run by one of our former players Lionel Best.

As well as using the ground in the morning from 11.00am onwards, to showcase his youngsters, including a game on the pitch against some kids from AFC Wimbledon. He has worked extremely hard to raise a side of former Hamlet heroes, with the help of another former Hamlet man Paul Gbogidi, with the former Dulwich Hamlet team to take on our current players. This kicks off at two o’clock, and admission to this one will be by donation.

Before kick off both sides will be presented to the Mayor of Southwark.

There will also be a raffle & auction on the day, so please be generous, for a very good cause.

And please also don’t forget that our Supporters’ Trust will have a stand on Sunday at the Dulwich Festival Fair, on Goose Green, so why not stop off there & say hello to them on the way to the ground?
