Left back Braham-Barrett signs after leaving Tonbridge Angels

Hakan Hayrettin has made his first signing of the summer, bringing in left-back Craig Braham-Barrett.

The 34-year-old has vast amounts of Football League and non-league experience, with more than 400 league games under his belt, and has most recently spent the last two years with Tonbridge Angels, making 70 league appearances in that time.

Craig is also an international footballer, playing 20 times for Montserrat, and has captained his country too.

Craig actually began his youth career with the Hamlet, and is a self-confessed Hamlet fan. He has also played under Hakan before, during the 2016-17 season with Braintree Town.

Since 2017, he has played in the National League South with Chelmsford City, Welling United, Hemel Hempstead Town and Dartford, before his move to Tonbridge.

"It's a club that has always been close to my heart," said Craig. "I started in the youth team here and have seen the club grow from 250 fans to what it is now, and every time I have been back to watch I have just wished to be playing at Champion Hill every week!"

"It feels like I'm coming home, my aunt lives by the Domino's at the end of the road, so it's going to be a nice feeling to be part of the community here. I had opportunities to stay at Step 2, but I sat down with my family and said I would prefer to go to a club that is pushing for something, so when the management team were showing interest, there was only one club for me."

"Dulwich deserve to be in the National League, not just the National League South, and if I can play a part in helping us to return to where we should be, it would probably mean more to me than it would to most people."

"Craig is a local boy, which I know is important to people, has got bags of experience in the higher leagues and has captained his country in World Cup qualifiers," said Hakan.

"He wanted to be here, which is very important, he fits the bill in terms of his determination to be part of this football club and we welcome him with open arms. He's got good pedigree, which we are going to need and will be an experienced player in that dressing room. He also knows that we are all playing for each other and the badge this year, that is our ethos."

Welcome (back) Craig!
